Jack Miller, DMD
Jack Miller has been involved in the dental industry from the time of entering dental school in the fall of 1991 until the present. Jack graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University’s dental school in 1995. After graduation, he purchased a dental practice in Bend Oregon. Five years later, he hired an associate dentist, sold half of his practice to the associate dentist forming a partnership, and continued to practice dentistry as a partner until 2012, when he retired. Jack remained in Oregon after his retirement from practicing dentistry and shifted gears in to the world of real estate. He obtained his real estate license 6 years ago in the state of Oregon and then took his passion and knowledge of dentistry and began to broker and transition dental practices. His experience provides clients with a good understanding of all the aspects of a dental practice transition, as well as being able to relate to and understand the doctor’s path to private practice and practice ownership. Jack enjoys working with younger dentists buying their first practice, as well as midcareer doctors relocating and retiring doctors entering their next season of life. He is convinced that dentistry is the best healthcare profession and it shows throughout the whole practice transition process. When not in the office, Jack loves spending time with his wife and four children playing games and being in the outdoors, which includes anything from fishing, boating, camping or being in, on or by the water. To say he loves the warm temperatures of Arizona is an understatement.

Mark Soelberg joined Menlo Dental Transitions in early 2020 to fill the role of Menlo’s Dental Transitions Analyst. Combining his passions for the dental field and finance, Mark brings a unique set of knowledge and skills to the team. Following his graduation in Finance from the BYU Marriott School of Business, he gained a range of valuation experience through positions with both private equity and venture capital groups. This previous experience, coupled with his acute attention to detail, has allowed Mark to excel as he’s entered the dental transitions space.
Mark’s initial exposure to the dental field came while working at Dental Intelligence, Inc. While there, he personally assisted over 250 practices, enabling those teams to effectively utilize software to improve operating performance, leverage the power of analytics, and ensure enhanced patient care. Mark’s passion for dentistry grew after witnessing firsthand the impact that dental team members can have as they strive to improve their patients’ lives. He is eager to bring that love for dentistry to the transitions space in order to help doctors navigate through the most substantial event of their professional careers.
Being an Arizona native, Mark loves to explore the Phoenix valley and beyond. His personal interests include learning (about anything and everything), reading and/or listening to books, music, basketball, golf, and AZ sports teams. He is humbly, yet unabashedly, the favorite of his parents’ 13 kids, and a happy husband to his wife of four years. He and his wife enjoy a variety of activities together, including hiking, yoga, and eating popcorn.
