He is a frequent regional lecturer and author for the Arizona Dental Society, many local study clubs and has been engaged as a consultant by the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health. Matt is also a highly sought after practice valuation expert with a unique ability to apply accurate analytic methods as well as keep his ‘finger on the pulse’ of what real-time values are for dental practices. He is the only dental practice broker in Arizona who is credentialed as a certified business appraiser. His ability to properly evaluate and leverage both the quantitative and qualitative facets of a dental practice help to provide maximum value to his clients, whether buying or selling a practice. Matt has successfully transitioned hundreds of dental offices and represented countless dentists who desire to sell their practice, purchase a practice or secure a partnership. On the topic of practice valuations, Matt has been engaged by dentists to provide expert witness testimony at trial and retained as a consultant by some of Arizona’s top law firms.
For over a decade, Matt has served as both a President and general board positions for multiple Arizona municipalities where he has approved over $300 million in loans for the purpose of financing City-owned projects. He is also active in the local dental community and serves on the Board of Directors for the Central Arizona Dental Society Foundation and the annual Mission of Mercy event.
Matt’s previous career included managing the daily operations a business unit of 300 employees and contractors with an annual budget of $50 Million.
Matt graduated in the top 10% of his class at Brigham Young University with a Bachelor’s of Science and a minor in business. He later continued his education by receiving a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Arizona State University, again graduating in the top 10% of his class with an emphasis in small business/entrepreneurship. He stays current on his education by keeping his nose in the latest issue of the Harvard Business Review.
In his spare time, Matt tries to find time for the gym and golfing, in addition to spending time outdoors with his wife of 18 years and his 3 daughters and 1 son. He enjoys volunteering in various charities, including the Boy Scouts of America, Habitat for Humanity, Salvation Army, Feed My Starving Children and his local church. You can also find Matt reading two or three books at a time. His favorite authors include Clayton Christensen, Ken Blanchard and Stephen Covey.

Tanner Milne has been involved with commercial real estate development and brokerage since 2003. After having negotiated hundreds of leases on behalf of doctors, dentists, and specialists, dental practice transitions was a natural fit. He has facilitated and negotiated projects and transactions with values in excess of $500 Million, and has carried projects from site acquisition to final close out. This experience provides clients value in understanding the critical path in buying, selling, and leasing commercial real estate. Tanner founded Menlo Group Commercial Real Estate in 2008 with the objective of delivering unparalleled value to clients through service, innovation, and solutions. As a leader in the east valley office, dental and medical office, and office condo markets, Tanner has helped many of the valley’s top doctors and dentists locate space while negotiating favorable deals in their behalf. After earning a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University, Tanner went on to receive a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Arizona State University. It was at ASU where Tanner, Rich, and Matt became close friends and respected business advisors. He enjoys reading business books in his spare time, including some of his favorites: Good to great, Think and Grown Rich, and How to Stop Worrying and Start Living. Tanner is married with four beautiful children. He loves food, Brazil, and the beach.
Rich Andrus specializes in the sales and leasing of office and investment properties throughout the state of Arizona, with an emphasis in medical and dental tenant/buyer and landlord/seller representation. Rich’s innate ability to establish relationships with landlords and tenants alike allow him to make an immediate impact in any situation. Prior to joining Menlo Group CRE, Rich worked for Cardinal Health, a Fortune 500 medical supply corporation. While there, he held various roles ranging from Physician office Sales Representative in the Phoenix Valley, National Account Manager, West Coast Surgical Supplies Region Manager, and West Coast Nursing Products and Services Region Manager. Within his roles at Cardinal Health, Rich managed multiple product business lines with a total sales territory valued in excess of $80 million annually in medical spend. Rich has personally participated in the negotiation of hundreds of contracts valued well over $100 million. Rich’s accolades at Cardinal Health include West Coast Sales Representative of the Year and the Region Manager of the Year. His previous sales and negotiation experience brings a fresh and creative approach to your negotiation table! Rich graduated from Utah State University with a dual Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Marketing and a dual minor in Economics and Spanish. Additionally, he graduated from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University with a Masters in Business Administration. When not in the office, Rich enjoys spending time with his wife and their four very active children. He enjoys baseball, fishing, golfing, hiking, and swimming. He also enjoys the time he gets to spend working with the youth in his church group, and the Boy Scouts of America.
Karli Pierson joined Menlo Dental Transitions this past year as a Transaction Manager following her recent move to Arizona from the Sacramento region of California. As a Transaction Manager, Karli’s main responsibilities include facilitating each transaction from beginning to end to ensure a successful closing for each client and great experience for all parties involved in our transitions.
Karli graduated from William Jessup University and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. While Karli is new to the dental transitions industry, she has had extensive experience in operating a small business and understands business transitions on both a professional and personal level. When not at the Menlo office, Karli enjoys hiking, working out, reading, working on her latest home project and spending time with her two dogs.
Jack Miller, Menlo Dental Transition’s Tucson and tertiary market specialist, has been involved in the dental industry from the time of entering dental school in the fall of 1991 until the present. Jack graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University’s dental school in 1995. After graduation, he purchased a dental practice in Bend Oregon. Five years later, he hired an associate dentist, sold half of his practice to the associate dentist forming a partnership, and continued to practice dentistry as a partner until 2012, when he retired. Jack remained in Oregon after his retirement from practicing dentistry and shifted gears in to the world of real estate. He obtained his real estate license 6 years ago in the state of Oregon and then took his passion and knowledge of dentistry and began to broker and transition dental practices. His experience provides clients with a good understanding of all the aspects of a dental practice transition, as well as being able to relate to and understand the doctor’s path to private practice and practice ownership. Jack enjoys working with younger dentists buying their first practice, as well as midcareer doctors relocating and retiring doctors entering their next season of life. He is convinced that dentistry is the best healthcare profession and it shows throughout the whole practice transition process. When not in the office, Jack loves spending time with his wife and four children playing games and being in the outdoors, which includes anything from fishing, boating, camping or being in, on or by the water. To say he loves the warm temperatures of Arizona is an understatement.

Mark Soelberg joined Menlo Dental Transitions in early 2020 to fill the role of Menlo’s Dental Transitions Analyst. Combining his passions for the dental field and finance, Mark brings a unique set of knowledge and skills to the team. Following his graduation in Finance from the BYU Marriott School of Business, he gained a range of valuation experience through positions with both private equity and venture capital groups. This previous experience, coupled with his acute attention to detail, has allowed Mark to excel as he’s entered the dental transitions space.
Mark’s initial exposure to the dental field came while working at Dental Intelligence, Inc. While there, he personally assisted over 250 practices, enabling those teams to effectively utilize software to improve operating performance, leverage the power of analytics, and ensure enhanced patient care. Mark’s passion for dentistry grew after witnessing firsthand the impact that dental team members can have as they strive to improve their patients’ lives. He is eager to bring that love for dentistry to the transitions space in order to help doctors navigate through the most substantial event of their professional careers.
Being an Arizona native, Mark loves to explore the Phoenix valley and beyond. His personal interests include learning (about anything and everything), reading and/or listening to books, music, basketball, golf, and AZ sports teams. He is humbly, yet unabashedly, the favorite of his parents’ 13 kids, and a happy husband to his wife of four years. He and his wife enjoy a variety of activities together, including hiking, yoga, and eating popcorn.

A long-term Arizonian, Marc graduated from the University of Arizona, with a Bachelor of Science in Business, specializing in Business Sales and Operations which led to his extensive experience championing business development strategies and initiatives within the business-to-business (B2B) spaces and healthcare industry to build new markets, generate revenue, and expand client bases.
For the past 11 years, Marc has been involved in the dental business industry here in Arizona and he prides himself on the relationships he has developed with many local dentists. He built a multi-million dollar territory for Henry Schein Inc., a Fortune 500 company and global distributor of dental supplies, equipment, and business services. Marc truly enjoys helping his clients achieve their practice goals and has played a large part of the success of many dentists here in Arizona.
In addition to his dental experience, Marc’s background in finance and marketing make him the perfect fit to the Menlo Dental Transition team.
While not in the office, visiting a doctor, or showing a practice, Marc enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family, usually at one of his two daughter’s soccer games.
Maggie Kuta joined the Menlo team following her 2018 graduation from Brigham Young University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in communications with an emphasis in public relations and a minor in business management. At Menlo, Maggie fills her day with a variety of marketing projects to raise awareness of Menlo’s services, recruit new employees, generate leads and sell current listings. Her skillset includes writing, content creation and social media management.
A South Dakota native, Maggie had to adjust to city life and the warmer climate, but she has fallen in love with the people and sunsets of the Valley. She and her husband enjoy watching movies, playing board games and spending time with family.
