Arizona Mission of Mercy

https://www.azmom.org/ – Many of our members have been involved in volunteering for the Central Arizona Dental Society Foundation and their annual AZ Mission of Mercy event. Since 2017, Matt Porter has served on the Board of Directors for both events, assisting with fundraising strategic and logistic planning for the Foundation. AZ Mission of Mercy is held annually in Phoenix and provides over $2,000,000 in free dental care to over 2,000 patients during one single weekend, mobilizing 300 dentists, 200 hygienists, 300 dental assistance and over 500 general volunteers in a single weekend. Smaller events that the Foundation supports includes a Mission of Mercy event in Flagstaff and a Veteran’s StandDown annual event for military veterans within the community.
